7 февраля 1958 года Московскую Соборную мечеть посетили три иностранца в сопровождении переводчика.
Иностранцы – турецкие инженеры. Они были рассажены на передние почетные места в мечети, где они приняли участие в пятничной молитве, прослушали проповедь имама.
После молитвы я – Имам-Хатыб, предложил им прочесть Коран, но они отказались, сославшись на незнание.
По словам верующих москвичей, они и молитву Намаз совершали недостаточно грамотно.
После молитвы я пригласил их зайти в канцелярию для беседы. Но гости, сославшись на занятость, от беседы отказались. Они сказали, что будут в мечеть в следующую пятницу и тогда будут беседовать. Я сказал, что если они не смогут быть в мечети, прошу их передать привет от московских мусульман нашим братьям по религии – турецкому народу.
Гости говорили, что они хорошо поняли проповедь Имама и очень благодарны за приветливый примем.
Так как гости отпустили свою автомашину, мы проводили их до ГУМа на автомашине мечети.

On the 7 February 1958, the Moscow Cathedral Mosque was visited by three foreigners accompanied by a translator.
The foreigners were Turkish engineers. They were seated in the front, honorary seats in the mosque, where they participated in the Friday prayer and listened to the Imam’s preaching.
After the prayer, I, Imam Khatib offered to read them the Quaran, but they refused, citing their ignorance.
Judging by the opinions of religious Muscovites, they did not perform the Namaz prayer correctly enough.
After the prayer, I invited them to office for a discussion. But the guests, citing their busyness, refused the discussion. They said that they will be at the mosque next Friday and then they will have a discussion. I said that if they will not be able to be in the mosque, I ask them to say hello from the Moscow Muslims to their brothers in religion, the Turkish people.
The guests said that they understood the Imam’s preaching well and are very thankful for the friendly reception.
Because the guests let their vehicle go, we led them to the GUM in the mosque car.
