Недавно я прибыл в гор. Шуру с намерением помочь вам, как мусульманскому правительству, в проведении в жизнь ваших предначертаний, имея в виду, что вы стоите за интересы мусульманства; причем я проповедывал в Шуре идею безусловного признания власти, как это предписано всемогущим Аллахом, не соглашался с оставлением офицерством занимаемых им должностей, требовал и желал укрепления правительства для введения шариата.
Вернулся я из Шуры домой с тем же намерением помогать вам в деле набора людей в формируемые части.
В настоящее время, когда я слышу, что казаки увезли из Темир-Хан-Шуры с вашего согласия орудия, что вы их зовете в Шуру и сдаете им все находящиеся у вас боевые припасы, как оружие, так и патроны, я выступил с некоторыми войсками и остановился в Левашах. Ввиду же быстро распространяющихся сведений из сел стали прибывать ко мне войска, отряды за отрядами, и, таким образом, скопление войск ожидается очень большое. Я опасаюсь возможности причинения моим отрядом много бедствий и вреда населению города Темир-Хан-Шуры и другим, если я прибуду туда с ними, так как мои люди не обучены ни строю, ни дисциплине, а что такие войска причинят бедствия населению занятого ими района — это известно из опыта.
Посылаю двух лиц для того, чтобы узнать, что у вас делается. Прошу информировать их о положении дела у вас и ответить мне, ибо я не желаю причинить кому-либо вред без причин к тому. Я не хочу мутить мусульман, наоборот, хочу установить у них порядок и спокойствие, а установить порядок возможно лишь тогда, когда этот порядок будет у представителей власти. Жду от вас спешного ответа. Я слышу, что младшие офицеры готовы идти за мною и исполнять все мои веления, за что приношу им благодарность.

Если послушаетесь своих старших в вопросе приглашения ими в Шуру казаков и сдадите им боевые припасы, имущество и снаряжение, то гнев Божий упадет на вас, все существа небесные и земные будут вас преследовать, равно как ваших детей и ваше имущество.
Вы будете прокляты всеми людьми земного шара, Мекки и Медины. Кто из вас сочувствует казакам, тот вечно будет проклят вместе с ними и местом пребывания их будет вечный ад.
Я, Али Гаджи Акушинский, твердо требую от вас уведомить меня, кто из вас сторонник ислама и мусульман и кто тяготеет в страну казаков?
Думается, что молодежь настолько умна, что избежит великого несчастья.

I recently arrived in the town of Shura with the intention of helping you, as a Muslim government, to implement your outlines, bearing in mind that you stand for the interests of Muslims; moreover, I preached in Shura the idea of unconditional recognition of the government, as commanded by Allah the Almighty, I disagreed with the officers’ abandonment of the positions they held, and I demanded and wished for the consolidation of the government in order to introduce Sharia.
I returned home from Shura with the same intention of helping you in the task of recruiting people for the units to be formed.
Now that I hear that the Cossacks have taken guns out of Temir-Khan-Shura with your consent, that you are calling them to Shura and are giving them all the military supplies you have, both weapons and ammunition, I have joined some troops and stopped in Levashi. In view of the rapidly spreading information from the villages, troops have started to come to me, detachment after detachment, and therefore a very large mass of troops is expected. I fear it is possible that my detachment could cause many calamities and harm on the population of the town of Temir-Khan-Shura and others if I come there with them, since my people are not trained in either acting in formation or in discipline, and it is well known from experience that such troops will inflict calamities on the population of the area they occupy.
I am sending two people to find out what is going on with you. Please inform them about your situation and give me a response, because I do not wish to cause harm to anyone for no reason. I do not want to stir up the Muslims; on the contrary, I wish to establish order and tranquility among them, but order can be established only when there is such order among representatives of the government. I look forward to a rapid response from you. I hear that the junior officers are ready to follow me and carry out all of my commands, for which I am grateful to them.

Addendum
If you listen to your elders in the matter of their inviting the Cossacks to Shura and you give up your military supplies, property and munitions to them, God’s wrath will fall on you, all celestial and earthly beings will persecute you, as well as your children and your property.
You will be damned by all the people of the earth, of Mecca and Medina. Whoever among you sympathizes with the Cossacks will eternally be damned together with them and their abode will be an eternal hell.
I, Ali Hadji Akushinsky, firmly demand that you inform me, which of you is a supporter of Islam and Muslims and which is drawn to the land of the Cossacks?
I think young people are so smart that they will avoid a great misfortune.
